Honorary president's message

This year is the 375th anniversary of the city of Lévis, and it is with great pleasure and pride that I have accepted the honorary presidence of the 29th edition of Festivent Ville de Lévis. This pride is also shared by the Mouvement Desjardins, which supports the festival since its very beginning.

For Desjardins much like myself, contributing to the development and well-being of the community means cooperating with the industry to ensure that events known for bringing people together, such as Festivent Ville de Lévis, remain accessible to the population at a reasonable price. Year after year, this festival brilliantly attains such a goal and meets expectations of the young ones and older ones alike with international shows, fun family activities, and high in colour balloon flights.

 I wish all festival-goers make the most of this 2011 edition and enjoy them
